Film Daj mi usłyszeć swój głos snuje intymną rozmowę z czterema utalentowanymi muzycznie kobietami – Almą Zohar, Victorią Hanna, Maureen Nehedar i Leą Avraham, które mówią o osobistych doświadczeniach, inspiracjach, kobiecości i żydowskich korzeniach, otwierając swoje serca. W połączeniu z przepięknymi utworami muzycznymi film pozwala publiczności zanurzyć się w starożytną przestrzeń, która wciąż ewoluuje.

Short description: After generations of silence, more and more women dare to give their own personal and musical interpretation to ancient Jewish texts – a territory known only for men. The film Let Me Hear Thy Voice unravels an intimate conversation with four talented female musicians – Alma Zohar, Victoria Hanna, Maureen Nehedar and Lea Avraham who open their hearts and speak about their personal experiences, inspiration, femininity and Jewish roots. Combined with beautiful musical segments, the film gives the viewer an opportunity to dive into an ancient space that is still ever-changing.

Reżyserzy:

Mili Ben Hayl – niezależna reżyserka i scenarzystka; studiowała na Wydziale Filmu i Telewizji Uniwersytetu w Tel Awiwie. Przez ponad 15 lat prowadziła warsztaty kreatywnego pisania i reżyserii w różnych gminach w całym Izraelu.

Tamar Shippony – autorka eksperymentalnych filmów i artystka. Studiowała w Pratt Institute w Nowym Jorku oraz Akademii Sztuk Bezalel w Jerozolimie. Prowadzi aktywnie działające studio sztuki w Jerozolimie.

Directors:

Mili Ben Hayl – an independent director and screenwriter who studied at the Deptartment of Film and Television in Tel Aviv University. For over 15 years she has been leading workshops in creative writing and directing in diverse communities all around Israel.

Tamar Shippony – an experimental filmmaker and artist who studied at Pratt Institute in NY and Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem. She holds an active art studio in Jerusalem.
