Trzej wnukowie wyruszają ze swoimi babciami w anarchiczną podróż w przeszłość i mierzą się ze swoim dziedzictwem, dzięki wspomnieniu niezwykłego życia ich babć: angielskiego szpiega, tancerki z nazistowskich Niemiec i węgierskiej komunistki ocalałej z Holokaustu. Film o dialogu międzypokoleniowym, ale i eksperyment filmowy, mający na celu sformułowanie języka, który młodzi ludzie mogliby wykorzystać, by zrozumieć wartości przyświecające pokoleniu ich dziadków.
Short description:
The three grandchildren set out with their grandmothers on an anarchic journey into the past and face their heritage, thanks to the remembrance of the extraordinary lives of their grandmothers: an English spy, dancer from Nazi Germany and a Hungarian communist survivor of the Holocaust. A film about intergenerational dialogue, but also a film experiment, aimed at formulating a language that young people could use to understand the values guiding the generation of their grandparents.

Ukończył studia na Uniwersytecie w Brighton w 2012 roku. Jest założycielem londyńskiego kolektywu Gallivant Film i aktywnym uczestnikiem budapeszteńskiej sceny dokumentalnej.
Director:
Bálint Révész is a young director/producer from Hungary who focuses on the frontier between documentary and fiction. He finished at the University of Brighton in 2012. He’s the founder of the London based Gallivant Film collective and an emerging creator in Budapest documentary scene.
