Short description:

A few years after the Holocaust, the capture of Nazi war criminal, Adolf Eichmann, had set the myth of the Israeli Mossad – Israel’s foreign intelligence agency. Mossad agents were perceived as larger-than-life, inglorious bastards who would do anything, even recruit ex-Nazi commanders, in order to obliterate the enemy. Decades later, the Mossad is a powerful organization with a strong regional power. How did the Mossad turn into one of the most mythical intelligence agencies of our time?

Duki Dror studiował reżyserię na UCLA oraz Columbia College Chicago. Jego dorobek stanowi ponad 20 filmów dokumentalnych. Spośród uznanych przez krytyków należy wymienić m.in. Wizje Ericha Mendelsohna(2011), który zdobył wiele prestiżowych nagród jak Złotą Nagrodę na FILAF Art Film Festival we Francji; Raging Dove(2002), Partner with the Enemy(2015) – laureat nagrody Złotej Pandy (Syczuan, Chiny) w kategorii dokumentu pełnometrażowego; oraz Darknet: Drugie dno internetu(2016), który miał premierę na DOK w Lipsku i został nominowany do izraelskiego Oskara (Nagroda Ophir) w kategorii Najlepszy dokument poniżej 60 minut.

Duki Dror studied film at UCLA and Columbia College Chicago.He has a body of work of more than 20 signature documentaries. Among his critically-acclaimed documentaries: “Mendelsohn’s Incessant Visions” (2011) that won numerous prestigious awards among them – the Golden Award at FILAF Art Film Festival in France; “Raging Dove”(2002), “Partner with the Enemy”(2015) the winner of the Golden Panda Award (Sichuan, China) for long documentary; “Down The Deep Dark Web” (2016) – premiered in DOK Leipzig, nominated for Israeli Oscars (Ophir Award) for Best Documentary under 60 minutes.
