Streszczenie:

Prawdziwa historia Krymskiej Tatarki, Saide Arifowej, która podczas hitlerowskiej okupacji uratowała osierocone dzieci żydowskie. Mały Icchak zwraca się o pomoc do Saide, wyjaśniając, że on i grupa innych żydowskich dzieci ukrywają się przed nazistami. Bohaterka staje przed dylematem moralnym: czy powinna spróbować im pomóc, czy raczej ratować siebie, odmawiając dzieciom? Mimo niebezpieczeństwa postanawia jednak chronić dzieci, zatajając ich żydowskie pochodzenie. Uczy je krymsko-tatarskiego języka, zwyczajów i modlitw, a nawet nadaje im krymsko-tatarskie imiona.

Short description:

The true story of a Crimean Tatar woman named Saide Arifova, who saved orphaned Jewish children during the Nazi occupation. A boy named Itzhak turns to Saide for help, explaining that he and a group of other Jewish children are hiding from the Nazis. She faces the moral dilemma: should she try to help them or save herself by refusing? Despite the danger, she decides to protect the children. She disguises them as Crimean Tatars, teaches them the Crimean Tatar language, customs and prayers, and even gives them Crimean Tatar names.

Achtem Sejtablajew – reżyser, aktor, prezenter telewizyjny, scenarzysta. Urodzony w 1972 roku w Yangiyul w Uzbekistanie. W 1992 roku ukończył krymski Cultural and Educational College. W 1999 roku ukończył wydział reżyserii Kijowskiego Narodowego Uniwersytetu Teatru, Kina i Telewizji im. I. Karpenki-Karego. Od 1992 do 2004 roku pracował jako aktor i reżyser w Krymsko-Tatarskim Teatrze Muzyczno-Dramatycznym w Symferopolu. Od 2005 roku pracuje w kijowskim Teatrze Dramatu i Komedii na Lewym Brzegu Dniepru. Wśród jego ostatnich filmów znajdują się m.in. Chajtarma oraz Cyborgi.

Akhtem Seitablaev – director, actor, TV presenter, screenwriter. Born in 1972 in Yangiyul, Uzbekistan. In 1992 graduated from Crimean Cultural and Educational College. In 1999 graduated from the directing department of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theater, Cinema and Television University.  From 1992 to 2004 worked as an actor and director in Simferopol State Crimean Tatar Academic Music and Drama Theater. Since 2005 he has been working in Kiev Academic Theatre of Drama and Comedy on the Left Side of the Dnieper.  Among his recent films are Haytarma and Cyborgs.
